Well, all that is true; however I must point out that some customers are absolutely rude, ignorant, loud, messy and disruptive. Be a polite and friendly customer to get good customer service.

When my children were little and we used to eat out I would always leave a larger tip than the recommended 15%. (I think it is now 20%.) I told them that the waitperson was there to make a living and did not make much money and that if one couldn't afford to leave a good tip one couldn't afford to eat out. Years later my younger son worked as a bartender and always got great tips; however, when he relocated he took a temporary job as a waiter in a family restaurant and called me to bewail the total selfishness and thoughtlessness of his customers. He said that he now completely understood what I had taught them so many years ago. (He quit that job after slightly more than a week. It was that or attacking customers and their rowdy, dirty children with a salad fork.)

And may I also say that I would rather be treated rudely than blown off. I have frequently requested info or lodged a complaint and all my information has been taken with promises to get back to me, but no one ever does.

I don`t think this is primarily about racism. Frankly - it`s about class meeting gutter, and once the catfight is in full swing, anything will do, as long as it is hurtful.

When Jade, Danielle and Jo will see the cuts later on, they will hopefully be horrified at themselves.

I have a great admiration for Shilpa for the very dignified way she takes their crap...

I thought you were my daughter. One of her blogs is something about looking out a window, anyway, something to do with windows and so I checked this one out. You aren't her, but I'm glad I did. Great blog. (I guess I can say that since it's not mine.)

It seems to me that nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiam and self-belief...

Being Irish I know this is not an English trait.

In this sense England and America are indeed two countries separated by a common language...

Refreshing that...and it's true it is an English trait, Chris martin always comes up with wise words doesn't he, shows in his songs too.
interesting , that it has had a positive effect just by allowing yourselves to feel you are great. You've inspired me to try it next week.

Hi, good read!. Broadsheets exist to sell advertising space, in fact they are one long attempt to get readers to change their lifestyles and to spend money. Newspapers are the last place to search for stimulating investigative journalism. Intelligent women are disapproved of, maybe they don't buy enough makeup?
